Transformed Tuesday # 19 And Features!

PJH Designs

Happy New Year everyone! I'm starting this party a little later than usual so y'all could all enjoy your Holiday.

I shared your favorite top ten post for 2012 the other day and the top one was...(drum roll please!)  DIY Butcher Block Style Counter-tops! Click here for the full post and to see the other nine.

Now on to our features from the last party! Three of these are ideas for Christmas decor that you can use for this year.

Suzy from Simply Vintageous shared her makeover of a great dresser, but the story definitely tops the furniture redo.
Thanks Suzy I needed a good laugh.

Penny kindly gave us a tour of her gorgeous home all decorated for Christmas.

At It's All Connected Maureen shared her decorated country lamp shade. So cute Maureen.

Jeannie at French Hen's Nest shared how she gets into a frenzy, like most of us do, at all the options we have when decorating for the Holidays.

If you want to Pin any of these features please go to the original post to Pin. Thanks.

If you were featured this week feel free to grab a brag button.

Your Favorite Posts of 2012

I can't believe this year is over already! It went by so fast!

I wanted to take time to share with you my top 10 post for 2012.  I think you may be surprised to find that most of them were on my kitchen remodel and not my furniture. :-)

So here we go. The most viewed post was my tutorial on how to make your own butcher block, style, counter-tops out of oak flooring. They are finished out with a thick, polyurethane coating.  I love them and after several months they still look great!

You may click any of the pictures to go to the full post.

The second most viewed post was a furniture redo. My tutorial on transferring an image onto a small foyer table with a product called "TAP".

Third was my tutorial on painting your stock, kitchen cabinets to look vintage using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and a dry brushing technique. I use this technique on my furniture all the time.

The fourth most popular was my glass-tile back-splash on a budget.

Next I shared how to upgrade your stock, kitchen cabinets by closing in the bottom and adding molding.

Sixth was the kitchen REVEAL!

Seventh was a re-purpose of a vintage bed to a porch or garden bench.

Number eight was my birds and roses dresser. I share how to use lace to paint a stencil.

Ninth was a tutorial on removing a popcorn ceiling. Folks there is no way to do this neatly. lol

My tenth most popular post was when I shared images of what I dreamed my kitchen could be.

I'm so glad for each and every one of my new "friends" this year and for all of you that have been with me since the beginning. Thank you for joining me and I hope I have been able to educate, inspire, and encourage you with every post.

Have a wonderful 2013!

Hugs,

Free Graphics Wednesday #39

Wow! Are you recovered yet? I've been taking it pretty easy all day. Although I did get out and slap some paint on a chifferobe I'm working on. :-)  I'll be sharing soon.

I know we are all tired so I'll get right to business. Here are your free images.

I'm sharing graphics for you to use in your Valentine's projects today.

First up we have a Dicken's style card. This little fellow has a prop on the back so you can stand him up.

Love the beautiful handwriting of this vintage French post card.

One of my favorite cards this one has such a devoted vintage couple. He looks like he just adores her.

Two lovely cherubs.

Without cherubs.

Cherubs only. :-)

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful New Year!
