I can't believe this year is over already! It went by so fast!
I wanted to take time to share with you my top 10 post for 2012. I think you may be surprised to find that most of them were on my kitchen remodel and not my furniture. :-)
So here we go. The most viewed post was my tutorial on how to make your own butcher block, style, counter-tops out of oak flooring. They are finished out with a thick, polyurethane coating. I love them and after several months they still look great!
You may click any of the pictures to go to the full post.
The second most viewed post was a furniture redo. My tutorial on transferring an image onto a small foyer table with a product called "TAP".
Third was my tutorial on painting your stock, kitchen cabinets to look vintage using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and a dry brushing technique. I use this technique on my furniture all the time.
The fourth most popular was my glass-tile back-splash on a budget.
Next I shared how to upgrade your stock, kitchen cabinets by closing in the bottom and adding molding.
Sixth was the kitchen REVEAL!
Seventh was a re-purpose of a vintage bed to a porch or garden bench.
Number eight was my birds and roses dresser. I share how to use lace to paint a stencil.
Ninth was a tutorial on removing a popcorn ceiling. Folks there is no way to do this neatly. lol
My tenth most popular post was when I shared images of what I dreamed my kitchen could be.
I'm so glad for each and every one of my new "friends" this year and for all of you that have been with me since the beginning. Thank you for joining me and I hope I have been able to educate, inspire, and encourage you with every post.
Have a wonderful 2013!

Those are pretty blockbuster posts and I'm not surprised they were faves! I'm heading over to check out the counter right now.
Beautiful recap, Peggy. I wish you all the best in the coming year.
My goodness you have had a very productive year. Love all the projects on your kitchen, love how your trimmed out the bottom. I can see these being the top ten, so incredibly great projects. DO you hire out for removing popcorn ceilings?

Hi Peggy, so happy you found my little blog! Following you back on fb, g+ and gfc. I'm loving your blog, I like to do small DIY projects, nothing like you do, I'm not real patient so I have to tackle only small ones :)
Have a great day!
