Hello everyone! We had a wonderful time on vacation in Alaska, but it was really good to get back home. I thought I'd start out today by sharing a few pictures from the trip with you.
Going to Alaska really makes you wish you were a photographer. It is so beautiful that you just want to bring it home to share with everyone, and we saw some serious professional cameras being used as we traveled around.
Mountains, water, and glaciers those three things are Alaska and I took so many pictures it was hard to pick which ones to share.
We saw moose.
Caribou or reindeer.
Sea lions, sea otters, seals, porpoises, and much more. I'm sorry I can't show you a bear picture but all I ever got was bear butts. lol They are so fast and were usually running away and since I was running the other way...no pics.
We met Dakota Fred from Porcupine Creek and panned for gold.
The Native Americans were so friendly and welcoming and I so admire them for living and thriving in such a rugged environment. I am so impressed by their stunning bead-work! I will be sharing more of it with you later.
The glaciers are so awe inspiring and were melting before our eyes. Our guide, the boat captain, said he had been doing these tours for ten years and showed us where this glacier was when he started. I was amazed at how much it had melted in that short of a time period.
If you have never been to Alaska I highly recommend you go while their is still time to get this close to one.
Well enough about Alaska. I hope your last few weeks have been good ones. I so enjoyed looking at all of your post since I've been home.
I hate to say this but I realized while I was gone that I would have to stop doing Transformed Tuesday as a link party. It takes so much of my time and I am not getting much furniture done.
Blogging takes quite a bit of time everyday and I love sharing with you, but I love doing the furniture more. It was a really tough decision as I so enjoy viewing all of your post and I appreciate, more than you can know, your support of my blog and the link party.
So, I am going to change Transformed Tuesday from a link party to just featuring one special blog every week. I will give you the details of how to enter your blog for consideration to be featured at the end of this post.
Now on to our features for this week. As usual the number one feature was the most viewed link.

You may submit a new post or an old one just so long as it has not been featured on my blog before. Next Tuesday I will choose one blog to be featured and I will promote it to all my social web sites.
Thank you so much for supporting my link party and my blog. Most of all thank you for being my blogger friends.

Peggy those are great pictures! Love the features too. And although I will miss Transformed Tuesday, I completely understand. You have to go with what you need. I look forward to seeing the blogs you showcase.

I would just love to go to Alaska. I don't think my husband would be interested but maybe I could get my son to take me, Did you book a whole package deal? or did you do it on your own.
