Bloggers Need to Know!

Hello all my friends out in Blogland! I hope your day has started out great!

I recently came across two different tools that I have found very useful and thought I would share them with y'all.

First, have you ever wondered what is being pinned on your blog to Pinterest if anything? Well here is the link to find out!

Just type in http://pinterest.com/source/thenameofyourblog/

For instance mine is http://pinterest.com/source/pjhdesignsoneofakind.blogspot.com

I was so delighted to run across this information on a blog recently. I wish I could remember which one it was as I would give her credit, but I forgot to save it.

My most pinned blog post is of course my kitchen counter top  tutorial.

You may see that tutorial here.

Now here's my second tip for you today.  I recently made my first video and shared it on Facebook. Yeah!

It was very simple to do and totally free although you cannot post it on your blog unless you buy the upgrade or do the following.

I just clicked on the Facebook link like I wanted to share it and when the window popped up I copied the picture. Then I made the picture a link to the video. You can click on the picture above to see my 30 second video on transferring images to wood.

The website is called Animoto and you just add pictures and text and they add the music.

If you purchase the upgrade you can do much more including longer videos, pick out your own music, etc...

This is a great tool and if you post to Youtube could drive a lot of traffic to your blog.

Here is the link to Animoto.

I hope you found these two tips useful. :-)

Don't forget to join us later tonight for Transformed Tuesday.  We have really been having some wonderful link ups every week.

Have a wonderful day!
Hugs,

Thanks Peggy. I love Animoto too, and haven't upgraded. They sure do make it easy to create a clip.

I'm not on Pinterest, but wonder if any of my posts have been pinned?

Have a fun week.

I tried to look, but had to join, or at least sign in with Twitter. Didn't want to do, but thanks.

Thank you for sharing these, Peggy! My best tip that bloggers need to know is that they're missing out on comments when they don't provide a Name/URL option. Not all of us want to leave our Google Account info strewn all over the internet, and if you have a self-hosted blog you don't always have a Wordpress.com username.

Good Morning Peggy, Thank you so much for the blogging tips, I did come across one of my cake recipes recently which I did not know had been pinned, so I am going to take a look to see what else has been pinned.
The blogging community is such a lovely group of people as you share hints and tips so readily. For a relatively new blogger it is tremendously helpful.
I have enjoyed my visit to your blog and have become a new follower. You would be very welcome to visit Ivy, Phyllis and Me! when you have the time.
Best Wishes from England.
