Transformed Tuesday #27 & Features

We had such a great party this week! So many fantastic link ups! I'm going to share your favorites in a moment but first I have a couple of items to share.

Free Graphics Wednesday #45

Gosh, I'm running late today! Let's get right to your free images this week.

I hope these images come in handy for some of your crafty projects. Also, I would like to thank everyone that expressed their concern and offered prayers for me as I injured my back again recently.

I go tomorrow for an injection in my back and then another one in two weeks. These injections usually help for awhile so I am nervous but looking forward to having it done.

Transformed Tuesday #26 & Features!

Hello friends! I shared a couple of tips earlier today. You may or may not already know about the tools I mention but I thought I would share just in case.

One tip shows you how to find out what people are pinning from your blog to Pinterest. The other tip is a web site that you can use to make a free video. To see the post go here.

Bloggers Need to Know!

Hello all my friends out in Blogland! I hope your day has started out great!

I recently came across two different tools that I have found very useful and thought I would share them with y'all.

First, have you ever wondered what is being pinned on your blog to Pinterest if anything? Well here is the link to find out!

Just type in http://pinterest.com/source/thenameofyourblog/

For instance mine is http://pinterest.com/source/pjhdesignsoneofakind.blogspot.com

I was so delighted to run across this information on a blog recently. I wish I could remember which one it was as I would give her credit, but I forgot to save it.

My most pinned blog post is of course my kitchen counter top tutorial.

You may see that tutorial here.

Now here's my second tip for you today. I recently made my first video and shared it on Facebook. Yeah!

It was very simple to do and totally free although you cannot post it on your blog unless you buy the upgrade or do the following.

I just clicked on the Facebook link like I wanted to share it and when the window popped up I copied the picture. Then I made the picture a link to the video. You can click on the picture above to see my 30 second video on transferring images to wood.

The website is called Animoto and you just add pictures and text and they add the music.

If you purchase the upgrade you can do much more including longer videos, pick out your own music, etc...

This is a great tool and if you post to Youtube could drive a lot of traffic to your blog.

Free Graphics Wednesday #44

Let me start out by saying I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day tomorrow.

My sweet son and his wife have already dropped off our
Valentine treats. (As if we needed any.)

They are young and have big plans for tomorrow evening so they took care of everyone else tonight. I remember those days! (Being young and looking for romance that is.)

I always get lovely flowers and sometimes candy as my hubby knows I'm a sucker for flowers. As a matter of fact, we had only been on one date when Valentines came around and he showed up with flowers and candy, not just for me, but for my Mother also. When he left my Mother looked at me and said, "I think he's got it bad," and fell out laughing.

So earlier today I went to the florist for gifts for my grandchildren and husband, and was tickled when a guy walked in and said, "Do y'all do flowers here?" LOL It was a FLOWER shop! You could tell he wasn't a regular customer. Definitely out of his element. :-)

But anyhoo love is in the air around here! I am hoping there is plenty in the air you breathe also. :-)
