Totally Transformed Tuesday #11 & Features
Oh my gosh! It has been a crazy week around here! Let me just catch you up on what's happening before we get the party started.
First, and the best thing to happen is my new grandson, Bowen. Sorry I know this is a painting furniture and antiquing page but I'm a proud Grandmother, or as I like to be called, Nonnie.
Here he is on the way home yesterday. So precious.
The next exciting thing happening is this:
I know. It doesn't look very exciting but for me it is!
This is a 12' x 16' storage building I'm having turned into a sealed work shop! It will be so nice to have a dedicated place to work on my furniture that has heat and air! I'm here to tell you it gets HOT during the summer in Texas!
I will be sharing with you how we go about finishing the inside including how to install electrical, insulation, sheetrock, etc...
Now here are a couple of furniture pieces I finished this week.
A side table painted with chalk paint and milk paint with a Dutch chocolaat graphic. You can see the full post
here
.
I also just finished this antique china cabinet. I painted it with two of my new colors Tearose and Chantilly Gray. After painting the gray I then applied a wash of Pure White. I will be doing a separate post about this piece soon. (Don't you just love my large pink and white roses with French text I picked up at Hobby Lobby?) :-)
Now on to my favorite but most difficult part of the week. Features. There are always so many lovely post to choose from. I would like to thank each and every one of you for linking up every week. I try to get by and read every post.
