Transformed Tuesday Features

PJH Designs

Hello everyone! We had a wonderful time on vacation in Alaska, but it was really good to get back home. I thought I'd start out today by sharing a few pictures from the trip with you.

Going to Alaska really makes you wish you were a photographer.  It is so beautiful that you just want to bring it home to share with everyone, and we saw some serious professional cameras being used as we traveled around.

Mountains, water, and glaciers those three things are Alaska and I took so many pictures it was hard to pick which ones to share.

Mr. PJH was in hog heaven, as we say here in the south, he has always wanted to move to Alaska.  I know, I know, I don't look anything like my profile picture.  I quit coloring my hair and I have put on a few pounds. :-)

We saw moose.

  All kinds of whales.

Caribou or reindeer.

Sea lions, sea otters, seals, porpoises, and much more. I'm sorry I can't show you a bear picture but all I ever got was bear butts. lol They are so fast and were usually running away and since I was running the other way...no pics.

We met Dakota Fred from Porcupine Creek and panned for gold.

The Native Americans were so friendly and welcoming and I so admire them for living and thriving in such a rugged environment. I am so impressed by their stunning bead-work! I will be sharing more of it with you later.

The glaciers are so awe inspiring and were melting before our eyes. Our guide, the boat captain, said he had been doing these tours for ten years and showed us where this glacier was when he started. I was amazed at how much it had melted in that short of a time period.

If you have never been to Alaska I highly recommend you go while their is still time to get this close to one.

Well enough about Alaska.  I hope your last few weeks have been good ones.  I so enjoyed looking at all of your post since I've been home.

I hate to say this but I realized while I was gone that I would have to stop doing Transformed Tuesday as a link party.  It takes so much of my time and I am not getting much furniture done.

Blogging takes quite a bit of time everyday and I love sharing with you, but I love doing the furniture more. It was a really tough decision as I so enjoy viewing all of your post and I appreciate, more than you can know, your support of my blog and the link party.

So, I am going to change Transformed Tuesday from a link party to just featuring one special blog every week. I will give you the details of how to enter your blog for consideration to be featured at the end of this post.

Now on to our features for this week. As usual the number one feature was the most viewed link.

Before we get started this week I need to let you know that I am going on vacation to Alaska.  My husband and I have taken a cruise to Alaska several years ago but really wanted to see more of the real Alaska.

On the cruise you only visit towns on the coast. This time will be flying into Juneau to go whale watching, then flying to Haines to pan for gold, one day we will fly with the mail carrier to three small villages above the Arctic circle, and too much more to list.

My husband always wanted to live in Alaska, but because of family and job stayed here in Louisiana. So this is his dream trip.  I'll be sure to bring back plenty of pictures. :-)

While I am gone I will leave this party open and hope you will come back each week and link up your latest projects.  I will choose features when I return. I promised no blogging while we're gone. I may go into withdrawal. lol

Now lets get on to the party. Here are a few request:

*Please take a moment after you link up and visit at least one other post. It's a party folks! Mingle!

*Please provide a back link to the party either by using my button or a text link ON your blog post.  Sorry no link on the post no feature.

*By linking up to the party it is understood that you are allowing me to use your images to post on my blog and any or all of the social networks. I always give you credit.

One more thing. Don't forget to come back tomorrow and check out Free Graphics Wednesday and pick up some free images for all of your crafty projects. I will be posting images this Wednesday but won't post anymore until I return from my trip.

So, what have you been working on? We can't wait to see!

I was going to share some of my finds with you today but just didn't have time to get it together. Maybe Thursday.
