I entered this item in a linky party at The Shabby Creek Cottage check it out!
Here's a quick project for you. I found this vintage stool with storage at a local antiques shop for $27.00 what a deal. I couldn't wait to put my stamp on it.
Here's the before picture.
As you can see it has great lines but is a little worse for wear. I believe this was a sewing machine stool as it has storage under the cushion and there were vintage buttons inside, but it would work in an office or anywhere you need a little extra storage.
After sanding the base down I first primed it then painted it with three coats of satin latex paint in Onyx. I then added a layer of extra batting for more bottom comfort(my bottom that is) and covered it with a soft zebra fabric. I love the way it turned out. What do you think?
Thanks for checking in and I hope I've inspired you today.
