How's My Kitchen Holding Up? Part I

Hello everyone. I thought I would take a minute and share how my kitchen is holding up after my remodel.

OMG I'm still loving it! I love the ASCP Paris Gray bead-board, my tin ceiling tiles, and the chandeliers.

I've been scouring the re-sale shops, flea markets, and antique shops for accessories and I hope you like what I've done so far.

Today I'm sharing the eat-in area of my kitchen.

Made my chair shrugs by tea and coffee dying scrim fabric.

My buffet I refinished and decided to keep and a mirror I silver-leafed.  I've been slowly collecting china, painted plates love them!

This one is my favorite.  I love the little bluebirds and the fact that everything is not perfect.

Another piece meant for my booth that I decided to keep is the corner cupboard. I've started a turquoise blue Fire King collection.

Finally got the knob put on the door but not the latch to keep it  shut. lol

I found this china cupboard in Arkansas at an antique shop and just fell in love with it.  The one piece I haven't painted. I store all my pink depression glass here. (Notice my curtains with the fabric flowers? They are shower curtains from Bed, Bath, & Beyond. Love them.)

I'm in to angels and their wings. :-) Got these galvanized wings at Decor Steals.

Still loving my antique table that I refinished. That is a lead crystal bowl I picked up at a rummage sale for $5! The candle holders that look like mercury glass are another buy from Decor Steals. Now I just need to find some candles.

Love my antique, baby, highchair in the corner and yes I really use it. Another item I can't decide if I want to paint or not.

Okay, I'll be sharing the working end of my kitchen soon with all the pros and cons of my design choices. Hope you enjoyed the tour. Until next time hugs and kisses.

You done such a great job of using lots of colour without any of it being harsh. The roomy has a homey, dreamy feel to me. Love the new Fire King collection!
